DESCRIPTION:Register here \n  \nAs the World Health Organization (WHO) celebrates  WHO Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Month this September\, we are pleased to invite you to an upcoming webinar featuring the Council’s Régine Sitruk-Ware. \n  \nMale contraceptive innovation is advancing\, with a growing pipeline of potential new methods that could expand contraceptive choice and support greater shared responsibility for family planning. But what characteristics should these future products have to meet the needs and preferences of users\, partners\, health-care providers and health systems? Join WHO for a webinar introducing new Target Product Profiles (TPPs) for male contraceptive methods. The TPPs provide a framework to guide the development of future male contraceptive products by outlining the preferred and minimum characteristics that new methods should aim to achieve. During this webinar\, experts will present the new WHO TPPs\, discuss the evidence and stakeholder perspectives that informed their development\, and explore how they can help guide research\, innovation and investment in the next generation of male contraceptive methods. This webinar is intended for researchers\, product developers\, policymakers\, funders\, programme implementers and others interested in advancing contraceptive innovation and expanding reproductive choice.

DESCRIPTION:Register here \n  \nThis event will explore the causes and consequences of changing fertility trends across geographic and socioeconomic contexts and facilitate a robust discussion on how to advance effective\, rights-based responses. \n  \nIn today’s world\, fertility rates are low or declining in many countries. The specter of population ageing and population decline has captured the public imagination and spurred some governments to implement policies that encourage people to have more children.
