Iqbal Ehsan is experienced in conducting qualitative research, developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and designing program implementation plans. He is capable in writing concept notes, research protocols, project reports, research briefs, and manuscripts, as well as skilled in developing data-collection tools and training manuals; monitoring and supervising data-collection activities; and providing training on research tools. He is proficient in developing data analysis frameworks and analyzing qualitative data by using advanced data analysis software; disseminating research findings in national, regional, and international platforms; and building networks and partnerships with government officials, civil society organizations, and community representatives.

Ehsan has expertise and research focuses in sexual and reproductive health rights and services among adolescents and young populations: family planning and maternal health services, gender equality, women’s empowerment, prevention of child marriage, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children and young populations.

Ehsan holds a Master of Social Science in anthropology.
