Violence against refugee children – New survey report indicates a worrying prevalence (HVACS)
Nearly half of females and males in refugee settlements of Uganda have experienced violence during their childhood years. This underscores the need for stakeholders to work with District Child Refugee Welfare Committees to address the plight that refugee children experience. The Principal Probation and Welfare Officer in the Ministry of Gender was speaking during the launch of the 2022 Report on Uganda Humanitarian Violence against youth and children.
