The Population Council’s PERCC Initiative and the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC) are hosting a webinar to showcase three case studies from Uganda and Malawi that examine how climate shocks—drought, extreme rainfall, and cyclones—disrupt access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) services. The studies highlight gendered vulnerabilities, barriers faced by women and adolescents, and community-led resilience strategies. Together, they provide evidence for integrating SRHR into climate adaptation and disaster preparedness frameworks, offering practical lessons for strengthening climate-resilient health systems across sub-Saharan Africa.
