Simangele Maliwa is a seasoned Finance and Administration Manager with over 20 years of experience delivering sound financial stewardship and operational leadership for international development programmes and donor-funded projects across South Africa and the broader African region. Throughout her career, she has partnered with leading international organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the American International Health Alliance, and the U.S. Embassy, consistently ensuring that programme resources are managed with integrity, transparency, and accountability.

She brings deep, hands-on expertise across the full programme finance lifecycle, including financial planning and budget monitoring, procurement administration, donor compliance and reporting, workshop and event coordination, and day-to-day operational support. Her ability to translate complex donor requirements into practical, audit-ready systems has made her a trusted partner for programme and technical teams alike, helping ensure that projects remain compliant while staying focused on their development objectives.

Simangele is well versed in UNDP financial systems, including the Quantum ERP platform, and has managed the financial and administrative dimensions of projects funded by major international donors such as UNDP, USAID, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her cross-donor experience has equipped her with a strong command of varied compliance frameworks, reporting cycles, and risk-management practices.
