The National Contraception Meeting provides an annual update on the state of contraception research from grantees from the Contraception Research Branch (CRB) of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Male Contraceptive Initiative, and various scientists in the field. This year’s meeting will highlight multipurpose prevention technologies (MPTs). Council scientists presenting at this meeting are developing novel medical device delivery technologies or conducting behavioral science research that could be used to deliver MPTs effectively.
