Maryke Conradie is the Access and Medical Affairs Support Specialist focusing on Access and Medical Affairs for the first long-acting, woman controlled, HIV prevention product, the dapivirine vaginal ring (also known as PrEP Ring). She has over 22 years of experience working in clinical research operations and administration across multiple countries with focus on biomedical HIV prevention for women. She worked closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, clinical manufacturing, and regulatory affairs teams, to provide comprehensive support for the successful European Medicines Agency (EMA) electronic Common Technical Document (eCTD) submission for the 1-month dapivirine vaginal ring (25 mg). This included coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the submission, offering insights, and coordinating both internal teams and external teams. 

Her experience spans clinical trials operations, administrative support, preparation for regulatory submission for new products, communications, and tool development for various audiences. Her role in communications is to develop tools that effectively convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, end-users, and internal and external stakeholders.
