The current legal climate highlights critical sex-differences in how policy can influence health outcomes. Center for Biomedical Research (CBR) scientists and product developers at the Population Council are approaching this challenge through the development of new contraceptive methods that increase choice, reduce side effects, enhance secondary benefits and address the role of men in family planning.
For this inaugural WHRLS lecture, Dr. Lisa Haddad, Medical Director of the Population Council’s CBR, will present on the current and future landscape of family planning in the US—highlighting that there may still be some hope to address the chasm in reproductive health.
