Sikiru Baruwa

Sikiru Baruwa is a Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Director at the Population Council in Nigeria where he supports the design, data management, analysis, and reporting of all research studies and M&E activities for the IntegratE Family Planning project in Lagos and Kaduna states.

Prior to joining the Population Council, he has worked with Abt Associates as senior M&E advisor and Family Health International/Achieving Health, Nigeria as senior technical officer, M&E. Previously, Baruwa pioneered a research and evaluation unit at Life Vanguards, adding a new level of validity to the quantitative and qualitative research conducted there.

Baruwa holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Lagos and University of Ibadan, respectively.
