The dashboard, a novel, user-friendly platform, collects data at the community, state, and national levels. With validated data from sources across the country, the dashboard enables surveillance and clarifies response options.
As a partner to the United Nations Development Programme on the Spotlight Initiative, Council researchers also set up a situation room, a physical hub embedded within a government ministry to host the data management infrastructure, including collation, analytics, and monitoring.
The Spotlight Initiative is a global multiyear partnership between the European Union and the United Nations to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls by 2030.
