Kigali, Rwanda

Event Website

Population Council experts and our partners will attend Women Deliver (WD2023) in Kigali, Rwanda from 17 to 20 July 2023 to share how we can collectively build evidence-based solutions to achieve gender equality and equity. The Council will lead the Girls Deliver: Pre-Conference on Adolescent Girls and key high-profile events on the sidelines of WD2023, and participate in concurrent sessions and side events during the conference to advance global discourse of the linkages between gender equality with pressing issues such as adolescents, climate, economic empowerment, education, female genital mutilation and cutting, and sexual and reproductive health.

As one of the largest multi-sectoral convenings to advance gender equality, WD2023 will convene 6,000 people in Kigali and 200,000+ people online through the virtual Conference. WD2023 will enable inclusive and co-created spaces that foster solidarity for sustainable solutions on gender equality.
